Celebrating Talent: A Day with Art Link and Enable Ireland in Cork
A good few years ago, I had the wonderful opportunity to spend a day with Art Link, a one-of-a-kind Cork arts organisation that's all about making creativity accessible to everyone. From painting murals to crafting sculptures, I met volunteers with some seriously impressive skills.
As I wandered through Art Link's buzzing headquarters, I couldn't help but be amazed by the talent on display. Each volunteer brought something unique to the table, whether it was an eye for detail in painting or incredible precision in sculpting. It was clear that these volunteers weren't just passionate about art—they were seriously talented too.
And when Enable Ireland joined in, bringing their own set of skills and enthusiasm, the energy in the room took off even higher. Together, they collaborated on floats and performances for the upcoming St. Patrick's Day parade, showcasing their creativity and teamwork in action.
Leaving Art Link that day, I couldn't help but feel inspired by the incredible talent and dedication of all the volunteers. They're not just making art accessible—they're showcasing the amazing skills that exist within our community. With organizations like Art Link, future of Cork's creative scene is little brighter!
